Ok its really been a long long time since i blog, carn think of a topic.
Anyways i got one here. Just thgt of it.. You might think i am kinda like a philosophical kind of person. LOL up to ya. Anyways just writing cuz i feel its happening around for perhaps some of us or even most of us.
Topic: Criticism against Praise
The topic shows what i am gonna talk about in this post.
I am sure everyone of you have either been criticise or praise before.
Take a moment and think were there more criticism or compliments in your life up till so far ?
Another point to ponder is were there more improvement in your futher actions after either of that? Which do you prefer ? lolx i believe is praise.
If you say criticism, you must be kidding yourself. Its human nature to like being praise, to put it that way.
You might have heard that criticism brings improvement from many others and or perhaps from parents ? This is wat they usually they would say right ? " Being criticise den you would noe where u went wrong, think about it and correct it. That den would bring improvement"
LOLX but at the same time it hurt's one's emotional stability to a slight certain extent.
Ok i do not deny that criticism does drive one to self improvement for some. They would hope to do better the following time.
Lets put it that way, praise can also bring about self improvement. Ok you might think that praise will also bring about self conceitment or perhaps an arrogent personality. I would not say that is not true. It does happen to some ppl. Have you been praise by others and hope to receive more in future. That also brings fourth self improvement and goals.
To cut it short, criticism hurts one's pride where's a praise can greatly raise one's altitude.
Hmm an example would be riding a horse.
Imagine if you are the horse. Would you like to be whipped or cared for ?
Its the same concept. Every criticism is like a whip that slashes into one's pride.
Personally, i prefer praise. Who doesn't ? lolx
Criticism brings about unwilling forcome improvements. Not all i will say but most.
Whereas praise leads to maintaining performance and further praise thus equals more effort.
Not all i shall say again.
To conclude criticism and praise are unavoidable in one's life.
criticsim are somehow needed too, to a certain extent.
Therefore a balance of both is still needed.
From my point of view praise beats critiscism.
Praise more and criticise less and you will see the difference.
